The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization seeks a Water Resources Specialist. The Water Resource Specialist will provide ongoing evaluation of data collection, data analysis, reporting and program processes for continuous improvement to water resource monitoring efforts. The individual will act as the primary contact for MWMO initiatives related to NPDES, Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL)/Watershed Restoration and Protection (WRAP) studies, and serve as the liaison with federal and state agencies associated with these efforts. This individual will be responsible for project and contract administration, data organization, data analysis and reporting relating to watershed assessment and monitoring data collection. The individual will assists with field work for monitoring, and with the installation, operation and maintenance of a variety of manual and automatic water monitoring and sampling equipment throughout the watershed. The individual will perform special projects as assigned by Executive Director and Water Resources Director.
