Bio

Dan Kalmon is the MWMO’s Planning Principal and has worked with water resources in the Twin Cities Metro Area since 1997. His work includes leading the watershed’s 10-year plan update, working with cities and developers from concept planning through 60-percent design of capital projects, investigating the potential for closed loop district infrastructure systems, co-writing and managing legal agreements that operationalize systems-based redevelopment, and serving as interim administrator of the Towerside District Stormwater System. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a Water Resource Specialization from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
