Climate, Energy, and Community: What We Can Do

Exhibition Dates: September 2016 – May 2017
Location: MWMO Stormwater Park and Learning Center

Minnesota is experiencing more extreme weather events that can be a problem for city infrastructure and clean water. An increase in the amount of precipitation can increase flooding and polluted runoff. How we manage our landscapes can have major impacts on the health of our environment and community. There’s a lot we can do to make a difference.

This free program allowed youth to explore Minnesota’s changing climate and home energy through interactive displays with a facilitator. It was available to school classes and youth groups grades 4–8. A grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency made the exhibit possible.
