Green Infrastructure Inspection Team (GrIIT)

In a partnership between the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, the Green Infrastructure Inspection Team (GrIIT) is built on the skills developed by youth on the Mississippi River Green Team. This summer employment program is geared for 16-18 year-olds who have completed two years of the Mississippi River Green Team or a similar program. Team members further their skills around ecological restoration and green infrastructure maintenance. Youth who complete this program are ready to join the green workforce with a solid foundation and significant experience in operations and maintenance of green infrastructure.
