Hnia Xiong

After leaving the Mississippi River Green Team, Hnia Xiong worked each summer in an outdoor job. For the last two summers, Hnia has been in a seasonal outreach educator position with Three Rivers Park District. He starts each day at French Regional Park. From there, he is assigned to different programs across the district, including archery, rock wall climbing, canoeing and fishing.

Hnia says the Green Team prepared him to work with others and be flexible. He especially enjoys the variety of his tasks from day to day, and working with new people. He plans to return to school next spring to work toward becoming a conservation officer.
