Mai Ker Thao

Since her time on the Mississippi River Green Team, Mai Ker Thao has found several summer jobs relating to the environment. Currently, Mai Ker works as an intern with Mississippi Park Connection, spending most of her time at the Upper Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam Visitor Center sharing history of Minneapolis and the Mississippi River. She especially enjoys informing visitors that they are in a National Park, the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.

Mai Ker will be entering her junior year at Mankato State University and is enrolled in the Law Enforcement Program. She said she never knew she would like the outdoors before being on the Green Team and hopes to someday combine her passion for the outdoors with her passion for law enforcement.
