Mississippi River Story* that Inspired the Art:

“To me the Mississippi River is freedom and power and beauty. In such an urban world, I think that the Mississippi River is an opportunity, running straight through my city, to connect with nature, let go, and relax. I love being able to climb on the sandstone cliffs at the edge of Summit Avenue in St. Paul, looking out across the river, especially in the fall, as the colors change.”
