Mississippi River Story* that Inspired the Art:
“I took a class at the University of St. Thomas, a biology course, on the Mississippi River. This changed my life in ways that I never thought possible, as far as how I feel about our environment, and my passion to protect it. The Mississippi River is very special in my heart. We are so fortunate to have this great river in our backyard. And we need to protect it.”
