More Funding Now Available for Stewardship Fund Grants!

St. Anthony East neighbors celebrate their newly planted rain garden.

We have exciting news to share: Up to 40 percent more funding each year is now available for MWMO Stewardship Fund Grants!

The MWMO Board of Commissioners voted July 12 to increase the annual Stewardship Fund Grant award limit from $250,000 to $350,000. The increased funding for the program reflects higher demand as well as rising prices for construction materials and labor.

Stewardship Fund Grants are designed to support small- to medium-sized projects to manage stormwater, control pollution, and improve water quality and habitat. Three grant types — Community, Planning, and Action — support projects of varying size and scope. Grant funding is awarded through a competitive process.
